# 2.2 Raw Data Types

Browse source-level alternative-data signals and learn how to interpret estimates, indices, transformations, and limitations.

## Source-level signals

These pages describe source-level signals used across TickerTrends. They cover search, digital activity, mobile apps, social discussion, commerce, developer adoption, and financial context.

Each metric is a research input. It may be observed, estimated, indexed, transformed, or modeled. It can also be delayed, incomplete, or revised.

Use source-level signals as directional context. They are not direct measures of revenue, transactions, users, or investment outcomes.

Detailed availability varies by source, geography, history, cadence, and entitlement. Review the metric definition in-product before using it in analysis.
