Unified Screener - KPI Tracking, Trackers, Data Source KPIs, Exploding Trends, Upcoming Earnings Screen KPI estimates, alternative-data indicators, trends, catalysts, and earnings context for investment research. ### Alternative-data screening for investment research The Unified Screener organizes available KPI tracking, trackers, source-level indicators, trend discovery, catalysts, and earnings context. Available modes depend on plan and entitlement. Available customer-facing modes include: * **Forecasts (KPI Tracking)** * **Trackers** * **Data Source KPIs** * **Exploding Trends** * **Catalysts** * **Upcoming Earnings** #### Access by role and tier * **KPI Tracking Suite** — eligible KPI Tracking, Trackers, Data Source KPIs, trend, catalyst, earnings, and private-market research views. * **TickerTrends Core** — eligible Data Source KPIs and Exploding Trends views. * **Free** — Limited preview of platform. Each available mode answers a different question. * **KPI Tracking** — How do available estimates compare with consensus context? * **Trackers** — Which directional indicators are changing? * **Data Source KPIs** — Which source-level indicators are available? * **Exploding Trends** — Which terms show notable growth or outlier indicators? * **Catalysts** — Which detected events warrant research? * **Upcoming Earnings** — Which covered reports need review? ### Shared screener workflow Available modes follow the same core layout. On the left, users refine the universe with filters such as: * **Universe** — public, private, or both where relevant * **Sector** * **Country** * **Market Cap** * **Catalyst Signals** Additional filters appear depending on the tab. These include items such as: * **Market Expectation** * **Max Avg MOE** * **Funnel Momentum** * **Tracker Type** * **Acceleration** * **Direction** * **Trend Type** * **Category / Sector** * **Match Strictness** * **Chart Period** * **Moving Average** At the top of the screener, users can also: * Apply a **preset** * Type a plain-English request into the prompt bar * Click **Apply filters** * Toggle **Generate summary** * Save a view * Customize visible columns #### Natural language search The prompt bar supports semantic search across the screener. Describe the companies, signals, or trend behavior you want to find. TickerTrends maps the request to a relevant mode and filter set. For example, search for changing consumer demand signals or accelerating awareness indicators. Review applied filters before using results. Example searches: * "Which beverages are going viral on TikTok right now?" * "Consumer usage trackers that have been accelerating over the last 3 months" #### Numeric filters Use numeric filters to set explicit thresholds for the active mode. Depending on the mode, this includes market capitalization, market expectations, average margin of error, acceleration, and growth values. #### Presets Presets apply a saved set of filters. Use them to start from a common research workflow, then refine the results as needed. #### Generated summaries Enable **Generate summary** to create a concise summary of the active results. The summary adds context to the screen and helps highlight notable signals. #### Saved-view query launching Users can launch a saved screener view directly from a query. This opens the saved filters and layout without rebuilding the screen manually. #### Saved views and custom columns Save a view to preserve its filters, sorting, and layout. Customize visible columns to focus the table on the metrics relevant to your workflow. #### Public and private universes Use the **Universe** control to screen public companies, private companies, or both where supported. Available universe choices depend on the active mode and access level. #### Sorting and filtering Sort and filter tickers to narrow large result sets and prioritize the most relevant names. ### Catalyst Feed {% hint style="info" %} The Catalyst Feed is available to Enterprise users. {% endhint %} The **Catalyst Feed** surfaces detected events and narrative changes for research review. Each result provides context for the detected catalyst. Review the related company, affected signals, and timing before using it in research.
### Exploding Trends The **Exploding Trends** tab is the least modeled keyword-discovery view. It surfaces raw, fast-moving terms from the selected dataset and ranks them using breakout logic such as outlier score and growth across multiple time windows. Use this tab to source terms for further research. #### What it shows Users can scan keywords by: * **1W** * **3M** * **6M** * **1Y** * **2Y** * **Started** Users can also switch between: * **Table** * **Cards** * **Heat map** And optionally show: * **Category** * **Ticker** #### Trend type coverage The data type picker spans many source groups, including: * Search and discovery * Social media * Social accounts * Web and traffic * Mobile apps This allows users to run the same workflow across Google Search, TikTok views, Reddit mentions, Web Traffic, mobile app usage, and many other data types. #### Filters Exploding Trends supports detailed controls such as: * **Direction** — up or down * **Trend Type** * **Category / Sector** * **Match Strictness** * **Chart Period** * **Moving Average** * **Chart Options** * **Sort by outlier score** In **Cards** view, each result also shows: * A mini chart * Related categories * Related tickers * Start date * A direct **Analyze** action This makes the tab useful for both scanning and immediate follow-up research. #### Categories and filters Category selection and filtering have been polished. This makes it easier to refine a trend universe and focus on relevant terms. #### Retrieval-quality notices Exploding Trends displays notices when result retrieval may affect data quality or completeness. Review these notices before drawing conclusions from a screen. ### Upcoming earnings The **Upcoming Earnings** tab is a forward calendar for covered tickers over the next 14 days. It is designed to help users prioritize which reports are worth deeper work right now. #### What it shows The screen organizes companies by reporting day and displays: * Ticker and company * Number of detected catalysts * Whether a catalyst is new * Estimate and consensus context where available * KPI-level estimated values where available Users can also toggle **Report Time Est.** where available. This turns the calendar into a pre-earnings triage tool rather than just a schedule. ### Email alerts and daily digest Users can subscribe to receive alerts whenever KPI forecast revisions are published. Alerts include: * An updated estimate where available * Revision detail * A direct link for deeper analysis Users can also enable the **Daily Digest Email** from the alert controls in the top-right of the platform. This is useful for staying current on: * New revisions * Fresh catalysts * Screen changes * Platform-wide updates ### Best use cases * Compare available estimates with consensus context * Rank changing directional indicators * Review modeled outputs with source-level context * Discover terms for further research * Prioritize covered reports for review All screener outputs are research indicators.
