KPI Forecasts

The Forecasts tab is the most modeled view in the platform.
It surfaces KPI forecasts with consensus context and revision signals so users can quickly find names where internal estimates diverge from the market.
What it shows
Each row centers on a company KPI and includes:
The ticker and tracked KPI
Any detected catalyst
A revision sparkline
Vs Consensus
Avg MOE
Awareness Momentum
Consideration Momentum
Action Momentum
Forecast Revision
Catalyst rows also show useful metadata such as:
Catalyst category
Impacted KPI
Estimated impact type
Expected horizon
This helps users separate names with a forecast change from names with a specific narrative driver behind that change.
Prediction versus consensus
TickerTrends forecasts are designed to identify divergences between underlying business momentum and what the market appears to expect.
Each forecast is compared against visible Street consensus so users can quickly judge:
Potential beat or miss setup
Magnitude of divergence
Direction of recent revisions
This makes the screen useful for both idea generation and earnings prep.
Forecast revisions
Forecasts update on a fixed weekly cadence as new alternative data arrives.
Every revision is stored historically. Past values are not overwritten.
This gives users a clean revision trail and lets them review:
How the forecast changed through the quarter
Whether the estimate is rising or falling now
How prior revisions tracked versus reported results
Revisions queue
Forecasts are published on a scheduled weekly cycle.
That cadence matters because it gives users a predictable revision queue. Analysts know when fresh model outputs are likely to appear and can compare week-over-week changes in a structured way.
Error measurement
TickerTrends shows forecast uncertainty directly in the screener.
The most visible measure is Avg MOE. This helps users judge how much confidence to place on a signal before drilling deeper.
Where relevant, users can review central estimates and error ranges to understand whether a setup is narrow and precise or broader and more directional.
Forecast shortcuts
The tab includes quick presets such as:
Expected to Beat
Expected to Miss
Rising Forecasts
Falling Forecasts
Top Catalyst (Consumer)
Top Catalyst (TMT)
Awareness Increasing
Action Increasing
These let users jump directly into common workflows without building each screen from scratch.
