Enterprise accounts have access to different Proprietary Trends we have developed in-house. A brief overview is below:
Investor Expectation Tend: This Proprietary Trend incorporates elements of public news sentiment about a company among other metrics to give users a sense of what the media thinks of the company at a particular time. A value above 80 tends to indicate the media being optimistic about a ticker while a value under 20 tends to indicate pessimism.
Whisper Expectation Trend: Many tickers oftentimes have a whisper element to how they react to earnings, with many companies beating both top and bottom line analyst estimates but still going down, and vice versa with stocks missing and going up. Our proprietary systems helps investors gauge true sentiment of a company going into their earnings reports. A high Whisper value (>80) tends to indicate a much larger beat on analyst expectations is likely needed to sustain the company’s price action, whereas a low Whisper value (<20) indicates that a lot of fear might be baked in. The Whisper Expectation trend incorporates both stock price action and as well as historical earnings multiples among other metrics to capture this hidden expectation value beneath the market.
