Finding high quality terms

To find high quality terms, be sure to turn on "Volumetric" mode on the TickerTrends' Analyze Page. The goal for ticker analysis should be to find 1) high volume terms and 2) highly relevant terms to the company in terms of what products or services the company is involved in. Ask yourself, what would a customer of the brand be looking up? What searches would indicate demand for the product or general sector.

Let's take look at a few examples.

For our first example $CELH (Celsius), an energy drink company, examples of good terms would be:

1) "Celsius flavors" (trend): Potentially indicative of consumer s trying new flavors of the product.

2) "Celsius caffeine" (trend): Potentially indicative of consumers learning more about the product, signaling potential demand for the product.

3) "celsiusdrink" (tiktok): Influencers oftentimes promote drink products so hashtag volume on tiktok for a phrase like this can tell a lot about brand interest momentum from social media users.

4) "celsiusofficial" (instagram): Influencers promote products with sponsored content oftentimes on Instagram so tracking instagram interaction data can be super valuable in this case.

Second for $AMZN (Amazon), an ecommerce company, examples of good terms would be:

1) "amazon.com" (web): tracking website traffic might be indicative of sales for a company only selling digitally.

2) "AWS login" (trend): Tracking login interest to a platform like Amazon or AWS can shed more light on consumer interest in the service.

3) "amazon reviews" (youtube): tracking how many people are talking about amazon products on youtube might be indicative of how much consumers are liking the Amazon platform, giving more information.

Third for $COIN (Coinbase), a cryptocurrency trading platform, examples of good terms would be:

1) "r/Cryptocurrency" (reddit): tracking subreddit subscriber growth for the crypto ecosystem would inform us of how the Coinbase business is likely trending.

2) "Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether" (android): following app ranking and DAU data would likely be very indicative of Coinbase platform trading volume overall.

Fourth for $RCL (Royal Caribbean), a cruise ship carrier, examples of good terms would be:

1) "Cruise ship essentials" (amazon): seeing Amazon search volume for items related to cruise industry demand can be a good indicator of interest in cruise vacations.

2) "Oasis of the Seas" (wikipedia): Knowing which ships are sailing this season relative to other seasons, wikipedia page views for specific ships might indicate potential travelers doing research on the ship they are riding on.

All-in-All, understanding how to Quick Add high quality terms to your TickerTrends account is a learning process, which will make more and more sense over time as you analyze tickers. The above framework gives you an idea of potential ways to use the platform to do analysis.
