To add a widget, users will see an Add Widget section appear after clicking the plus rectangle.
There are 4 widget types that can be added.
Data Import: This widget type allows users to add their own custom data.
As shown above, users can upload a CSV with “Date” and “Value” columns and have their own data displayed on a mosaic. We show an example of test data we created below.
The “API Endpoint” option lets users put a link to an API they want to call from other data sources and view in our dashboard format.
Keyword Relevance: This widget type lets users see current trending phrases or terms.
Google Trending and TikTok Trending comes directly from trending terms and hashtags on those platforms. Exploding comes from our own Exploding Trends Page, which is explained in more detail in the Discover Section pages! We show TikTok Trending as a test below. TickerTrends automatically links trending hashtags to public companies based on a similarity analysis.
Trend Chart: This widget type lets users add any trend data source the TickerTrends platform offers. Users can change the “Trend Type” to find a dropdown of all available data types and fill out any accompanying information before clicking “Add”.
Below, we have an example of adding “yogurt” as a “Trend” and show what it would look like when added.
Cluster Chart: This widget lets users enter a keyword and create a cluster, which essentially is an aggregate sum of the volumes of that entered term along with other related keywords to the entered term. Users can choose the size of the Cluster they want which will inform our system how many related terms to add together.
In the example below, we named our cluster "Fitness" and selected a Cluster Size of 5 for the term "running shoes". This can inform users how a broader set of related searches are doing as opposed to a single keyword.
