Instant Scrape

If the user wants, they can perform an instant scrape for quick data viewing. Simply type in a keyword to see historical data for the input provided. For example if a user wants to see Google Trend data for $CELH, they may type in “Celsius energy drink (trend)” in the search bar. If they want to view web traffic data for $LULU, they may type in “lululemon.com (web)”. This process can be repeated for any data type, by replacing the (trend) or (web), with whatever data a user is trying to see at a glance. (youtube), (tiktok), (wiki), etc are all possible to be instantly fetched from the Analyze Page.

For Google Trend values, notice the "Get 3 Month Daily Trend" option next to the chart title. Charts scraped show users weekly interpolated data, but users who want to view daily granularity for very short term trends can choose this option and see detailed keyword trends.

The "Force Update" option ensures that users always see update to date information. If there is a greater than 2 week lag in any scraped keyword a user types in the search bar, the "Force Update" button can be clicked to automatically make the data up-to-date and accurate.
