ChatGPT Trends
Overview ChatGPT Trends captures how consumers interact with and discover brands inside ChatGPT. As more users turn to AI chat platforms for product research, comparisons, and recommendations, this dataset reflects which companies and categories are gaining visibility within ChatGPT’s ecosystem. It tracks how often brands are mentioned in user prompts and responses, providing an early read on awareness, curiosity, and discovery driven by conversational AI.
Rising ChatGPT Trends values indicate growing consumer recognition or discussion momentum for a brand, while declines may signal fading attention or substitution effects. This dataset helps investors understand how brand perception and search intent are evolving within one of the fastest-growing AI platforms.
Historical Length Coverage begins in mid-to-late 2024 for most keywords, and extends through the most recent month available. This gives users a clear picture of how brand-level visibility has shifted as the platform’s usage base has expanded.
Granularity Data is collected at monthly granularity, offering a balanced view of trend direction while filtering out short-term noise.
Update Frequency Updated monthly, typically within the first few days following the end of each calendar month.
Methodology TickerTrends’ ChatGPT Trends dataset is derived from a blend of large-sample web usage data that captures how people interact with ChatGPT across the open web. The dataset includes both conversations that mention a given keyword and instances where users see or follow links related to that keyword. All data is normalized on a 0–100 scale to reflect relative changes in visibility and engagement over time.
In addition, TickerTrends provides both Raw Volume and Growth Adjusted views. The Growth Adjusted version removes the effect of ChatGPT’s overall platform expansion, isolating genuine increases in brand-level interest. This ensures the trends reflect changing consumer discovery patterns rather than general platform growth.
