Section 1: Discover

The “Discover” section of the TickerTrends platform is the heart of identifying opportunities and abnormalities presented within the data being tracked. The following tools were created to rank stocks based on specific criteria, such as year-over-year change in stock price or TickerTrends Proprietary in-house Social Arb Trend value. This section is meant to allow for seamless social trend discovery as well as general stock idea generation based on said relevant consumer trends. Through keyword crowdsourcing from the TickerTrends user base, our technology creates default ticker-to-term relations for users automatically, with a pre-labeled suite of keywords related to the stock. This makes discovering stocks time-effective, informing users of the best stocks to focus on when doing research. In short, the discover section is meant to find a list of companies to further research by sorting based on the features most important to the user’s criteria.
