Section 1: Discover

The “Discover” section of the TickerTrends platform is the heart of identifying opportunities and abnormalities presented within the data being tracked. The following tools were created to rank stocks based on specific criteria, such as year-over-year change in stock price, Web Traffic, Google Trends, and TikTok hashtag volume data. This sortable set of tables allows a filter to easily spot particular company’s that are seeing big spikes or falls in social trends in a given time period. All of the following tables will reflect both default tickers with a pre-labeled suite of keywords related to the stock, as well as the unique terms that users add to their personal accounts, allowing for a fully customizable experience. In short, the discover section is meant to find a list of companies to further research by sorting based on the features most important to the user’s criteria.
